Helping Programs That Help People

MISSION STATEMENT

Gibson Group Social Research recognizes and values the programs and services that are offered in communities throughout the United States, which work to enhance the quality of life for people and families in need. As doctoral level social workers, we have extensive professional experience working in a variety of community-based service programs and therefore have a keen understanding of the struggles that many such agencies face.

It is our mission to help such agencies/organizations/programs to develop, enhance and grow their services to best meet their own organizational goals, which include meeting the needs of those they serve.

We understand that many such agencies are anxious about evaluations and concerned that outcomes may result in funding cuts. We ourselves have been program administrators facing the same concerns in the past. Our goal is to help agencies understand the inherent value of the evaluation, and experience it as a tool to strengthen and empower services.

GGSR also recognizes than many organizations are facing budget cuts at a time in our world when there is an increased need for a variety of social services. GGSR wants to help agencies identify sources and prepare applications for potential alternative funding to save programs at risk of closure due to lack of financing, or enhance programs incapable of meeting the need presented to them due to underfunding. We hope that our services can also help programs to develop new and innovative services and seek funding to support such initiatives.
